What I find interesting:
The self-driving car thought experiment stuck with me: your Tesla earns money running itself as a rideshare while you sleep, ownership verified by blockchain, no government registry needed. It’s a vivid illustration of how trust can be encoded into a system rather than delegated to an institution. Whether the utopian future materializes is another question.
Why read it:
A useful primer if you’re curious about what blockchain actually is beyond Bitcoin. The authors are enthusiastic to a fault — the future they paint is very shiny — but the underlying ideas about decentralized trust are genuinely worth understanding.
